About the Role

Build the core control + perception stack for humanoids in real facilities.

Key Requirements

  • Stand up tele-op rigs and simulation workflows.
  • Integrate sensors, planning, and safety systems.
  • Deliver robust lab → field demos and first on-site pilots.
  • Be the first robotics engineer; grow into Director of Robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control systems for humanoid robots
  • Develop perception systems for real-world industrial environments
  • Create simulation environments for testing and validation
  • Build teleoperation interfaces and workflows
  • Lead technical integration with hardware and software teams

Qualifications

You: 4–8+ years in robotics (controls/perception), C++/Python, sim tools (Isaac, Gazebo), proven ability to ship from lab to field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with humanoid or legged robotics
  • Background in reinforcement learning or imitation learning
  • Published research in robotics or related fields
  • Experience deploying robots in industrial settings
